Spanish Parent Technology Workshop
Facilitated a live virtual workshop in Spanish for parents at IDEA Public Schools in Texas. Through my bilingual consulting work with tech-ed startup Parent ProTech, I delivered engaging instruction on digital literacy and technology resources, helping families confidently support their students in an increasingly digital world.

These moments help foster connection, reduce feelings of isolation, and build a sense of belonging before introducing campus resources, leadership opportunities, and ways to become involved at SEMO.
Global Passport Experience | Cultural Exchange Presentation for Jefferson Elementary
Designed and coordinated an interactive cultural learning experience for approximately 60 elementary students featuring presenters from three different countries. As one of the presenters, I shared my own culture, language, and traditional foods while collaborating with fellow presenters to introduce students to diverse global perspectives. Students traveled between cultural stations using personalized “passports” that were stamped at each stop, creating an engaging, hands-on experience that fostered curiosity, cultural appreciation, and global awareness.
Leading the $16 Million Student Fee Budget Process | Student Senate President, University of Oregon
Facilitating budget deliberations and guiding senators through the annual allocation process for a $16 million student fee budget supporting 251 student organizations, programs, contracts, and departments. Throughout the budget cycle, I partnered with each department to review funding requests, conduct budget hearings, develop recommendations, and lead the budget through final Senate approval.
TEDxYouth Talk | Social Media and the Pressure of Perfection
At 17 years old, I was selected to speak at TEDxYouth Portland after applying and interviewing for the event. Over several months, I worked alongside TEDx mentors to research, develop, and deliver my first TEDx talk.
On this platform I explore the relationship between social media, the pressure of perfection, and the growing rates of anxiety and depression among teenagers. While social media has evolved since I gave this talk, the conversation about its impact on mental health remains just as relevant today.
Comcast Leaders & Achievers Scholarship | Live Interview with KATU News
Nominated by my high school principal, I was selected as one of 60 statewide finalists for the Comcast Leaders & Achievers® Scholarship. At the Oregon awards banquet, I was honored as the statewide grand prize recipient, earning the program’s top $10,000 scholarship for leadership, academic achievement, and community service.
Following the ceremony, I joined a live interview on KATU Portland alongside a Comcast representative to discuss the award and my leadership journey.
